On August 14, 2025, the world lost a remarkable young man whose light continues to shine through the lives he touched.  Landyn, 17, was a rising senior at East Columbus High School in Lake Waccamaw, NC where he was known as Cowboy and L-Boogie.  Landyn was a lifelong baseball player whose dedication, energy, and laughter left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. His teammates were more than just friends - they were his brothers.  He led with passion, loyalty, and heart, always giving his all to every game.

Landyn spent his life learning the family logging business, a craft that connected generations of family members.  He found joy in the simple things - family dinners, backyard gatherings, hunting, fishing, and riding his four-wheeler.  Those moments with family and friends meant everything to him.

Landyn’s contagious smile, unwavering kindness, and genuine spirit continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.
